CHEF DAVID CASACA

With a father from Alentejo and a mother from Lisbon, David Casaca could not have a better inspiration when thinking of new recipes. His uncle and grandmother did not want him to be a chef as they know how hard it is this job, although after cooking for 4 thousand people in an event, he knew that this was what he wanted to do. He has studied in Escola de Hotelaria e Turismo de Lisboa and worked in well known places like Bica do Sapato, Tágide and Ritz Four Seaons.

Entirely homemade

At Art, the intention is to highlight local sea products, as well as multiculturalism, with dishes that have "influences from all over the world, but also from Portuguese traditions readjusted to the reality of our days".

Art is fully commited to their sustainability ethos and uses only locally sourced ingredients and makes as little waste as possible.
